The BHEC Holocaust Studies Library supports the mission of the BHEC by facilitating education and understanding about the Holocaust. This diverse collection provides opportunity for research, teaching, and personal enrichment.
The Library contains over 3,000 volumes devoted to the history of antisemitism, World War II, and the Holocaust and is one of the largest of its kind in the Southeast.
Library Hours
Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 am-3:00 pm, by appointment only.
Library Policies
All patrons must have a BHEC Library card in order to check out materials.
Library cards are available at the BHEC office.
All materials may be checked out for three (3) weeks.
Renewals can be made by phone or email to the BHEC office.
Patrons are responsible for replacing all lost or damaged materials
Archives
The BHEC Archives houses historical artifacts from World War II and the Holocaust, including personal artifacts of Alabama Holocaust survivors such as photos, documents, and testimonies.
